Who wants to be the next celebrity pornstar?!

Wellington’s Road

Even though I wasn’t around at the time, I have to respect “Old Hollywood.” The Joan Crawfords’, John Waynes’, Elizabeth Taylors’ and Sidney Poitiers’…they had class. If there was anything scandalous out there, you either heard about it or you didn’t. If you didn’t, it’s because the studios and publicists worked their butts off to keep it out of the public eye.

Today is a different…very different story up in ‘Hollywierd’. Today, is seems that a lot of celebrities are more interested in working in the porn industry. It seems that almost every week, some popular celeb is bearing it all to the world. What the hell?!

If they aren’t snappin’ shot of themselves in the mirror, buck-naked, or their members…then it’s ‘Oh…my significant other took the picture without my consent…’ bull-ish kind of story. Please, go sell that crap on the big screen so it can bomb at the box office.

Sad thing is, there’s a market for these kinds of shenanigans. People eat it this stuff up and get off on/to it. Yes, I have been one of many spectators…obviously…or I wouldn’t be writing about it. That doesn’t mean I’m not annoyed and/or distressed about it though… my questions is, where has the dignity gone?

To see celebrities more and more, put nude photos, intimate scenes and just junk (and junk-in-the-trunk) on the net really diminishes them. I don’t know if they know it or not, but it does take the shine out of their star. I know our culture cries for this crap more and more everyday, and some celebrities are probably urged to do this for publicity. It’s more than likely the last cries of a dying star trying to stay relevant. Actually, I feel it’s a delayed death move for a celebrity career.

You might as well just truck it over to the porn industry. Go make some money. Become the new “Nasty Nell” or “Dirty Dick.”
