DENISE HUNTER SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON KJLH’S “WHASSUP WIT THAT?” SHOW WITH REVEREND MICHAEL FISHER


Inglewood, Calif. – Denise Hunter, president of FAME Assistance Corporations and former first lady of First A.M.E. church joined Compton’s Reverend Michael Fisher on his show “Whassup Wit That” on Sunday, January 20 at Radio Free 102.3 KJLH in Inglewood to set the record straight about her husband and the charges made against them.  

She was joined in studio by Lisa Collins, publisher of the L.A. Focus whose January 2013 cover story “God Will Vindicate Us…Denise Hunter Sets the Record Straight”, marked the first time Hunter has spoken publicly regarding the transfer of her husband from Los Angeles’ First A.M.E. church to San Francisco’s Bethel A.M.E. and the ensuing controversy.  

Hunter also spoke on air about the work that continues to be done at FAME Assistance Corporation including a record number low-cost and no-cost services and programs available to thepublic in the areas of business development, health, transportation, and housing, including the continuation and expansion of its signature programs including Let’s Move L.A., Body & Soul, and the FAME Housing Corporation.
