Wesson Says ‘Thank You’ to City Employees
By Sentinel News Service
Published June 27, 2014

Showing appreciation has been, and continues to be the theme at Council President Herb Wesson’s annual City Employees Appreciation Luncheon.

Hosted at his District Office, this year’s event drew approximately 600 employees, the largest event ever.  Those in attendance were served by the Council President and his staff who donned their aprons to express appreciation for all of the efforts made by city employees to serve Council District 10’s constituents.

Also pitching in to help serve was the Council President’s wife Fabian Wesson, who is always an available volunteer for a good cause.

“There are many ways to say “thank you,’ said Wesson.  “This is our way of expressing our appreciation for the hard work, and sometimes the extra work that is done on behalf of our community.”
