Brenda Ross-Dulan, the Southern New Jersey regional president for Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, has been promoted to executive vice president within the company’s corporate structure.

Ross-Dulan will continue leading the Southern New Jersey region which consists of 150 banking stores totaling $12 billion in deposits throughout Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties. She is responsible for managing all aspects of retail banking as well as leading the community activities in her markets. She serves as national spokesperson for Wells Fargo’s national African-American Business Services program. Prior to coming to New Jersey in April 2009, Ross-Dulan served as Wells Fargo’s regional president for the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley markets which include the areas of downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley.

“The EVP appointment is a major accomplishment in the Wells Fargo culture and is only awarded to those with tremendous leadership skills not only within the company but within the communities we serve,” said Michelle Y. Lee, Wachovia’s regional president for New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. “Brenda relocated to the East Coast just one year ago and already refers to South Jersey as her home–and the people as among the best she has ever been associated with.”

Wachovia and Wells Fargo merged in December 2008, forming a company with more than 11,000 stores, over 12,000 ATMs, the Internet and other distribution channels across North America and internationally. Ross-Dulan, whose career in financial services spans 25 years, has been with Wells Fargo since 1990. She has also served in California as Wells Fargo’s regional director of Community Development, overseeing economic development and lending investments in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.

Ross-Dulan holds a BA in Business Administration from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and a MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. She resides in Princeton, is married and has two children.
