The Western Baptist State Convention of California will hold the Annual Session of the Congress of Christian Education beginning Monday, December 26 through Wednesday, December 28, at the J.W. Marriott Resort and Spa in Palm Desert.

The Rev. Dr. J. Benjamin Hardwick, pastor of Praises of Zion Baptist Church in Los Angeles, is Convention president. Rev. Tyrone Skinner, pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Altadena, is Congress president.

According to Dr. Hardwick, “Our theme is ‘Solidarity with the Savior’ and this year’s session will feature exceptional classes, music and seminars.”

“Pastors are invited to attend and bring your youth and adults for an exciting and fun learning experience,” added Pastor Skinner.

Among the highlights are keynote message by Pastor Jacob Johnson of Valley Baptist Church on Monday, President Skinner’s Annual Address on Tuesday, and music throughout the conference under the direction of Brother Malcolm Williams.
