The 60th Church Anniversary will be observed with two special services on Sunday, February 27, at Walker Temple A.M.E. Church, 2525 Trinity Street in Los Angeles.

“The greater Los Angeles community is invited to celebrate with us on this special occasion as we praise God for His blessings in allowing us to have uninterrupted service in this building for 60 years,” said Pastor Cedric V. Alexander.

The 11 a.m. worship will feature Minister Lara Bingham of Emmanuel Turner A.M.E. Church as the guest preacher. In addition, the service will include the Babes of Bethlehem Praise Dancers from the Royal Priesthood Church. Pastor Jacqueline Lofton is the pastor.

The celebration continues at 4 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Vernon S. Burroughs, pastor of Grant A.M.E. Church in Los Angeles, delivering the message. Also, Rev. John Cager, pastor of Second A.M.E. Church, will serve as worship leader.
