Residents of all ethnicities filled the parking lot at Walker Temple A.M.E. Church to take advantage of free screenings, cooking demonstrations and social services assistance available at the churchs Community Health Fair on June 28.

Participants included (above, from left) Kay Silva and Jena Song of Yonsei Medical Clinic, Los Angeles Councilman Curren Price, Pastor Rosalynn K. Brookins and Lillian Witt.

Thirty-one vendors participated in the fair. Also, Walker Temples Feeding Ministry distributed two bags of groceries to more than 200 individuals and families.

Walker Temple is located at 2525 Trinity Street in Los Angeles. For information about worship services or outreach activities, call (213) 747-7454.
