For the sixth consecutive year, the Homeless Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church will hold its Annual Blanket Drive to distribute to residents on Los Angeles Skid Row.

Contributions will be accepted on Saturday, December 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the church’s garage parking lot at 2040 West Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles.

“Brother Brian Ferguson is heading up the campaign to obtain full, king or queen blankets for the homeless and we invite the greater Los Angeles community to donate to this worthy cause,” said Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr.

“Our theme is ‘Love One Another’ and I am praying that people will unite with us to aid homeless men, women and children with the gift of warmth this holiday season,” added Ferguson, who is also seeking toiletry donations.

An activist for 16 years, Ferguson supports the ministry by running in marathons as well as freewill donations with all proceeds going to the homeless. He also conducts foot washing, pedicures, meal preparation, and grooming for the homeless.
