White Institute Graduates

Shelter T. White Institute of Biblical Studies, in partnership with Promise Christian University and Seminary, graduated 30 students with Certificates, Associate Degrees, a Master’s Degree, an earned PhD and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree.

Twenty-eight people received Certificates in Biblical Studies. Two students, Elder William Bryant and Sister Deborah Daniels, received Associate Degrees in Biblical Studies.

The Institute’s first Master’s Degree was earned by Freddie Wright and the first Doctorate in Religious Studies was bestowed on Shirley O’Veal.

Promise Christian University and Seminary bestowed an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree on Lady Kathy Kafela for her work with women’s ministries and her help as a mission-minded partner in planting and growing the vision of Imani Christian Cathedral.

“As we continue to ‘Bridge the Academy with the Church,’ all are welcome to take advantage of this community opportunity by attending the third session starting January 2013.  Come and experience what God is doing at the Shelter T. White Institute of Biblical Studies,” said Elder LaTanya Clark.
