Compton 4th District City Councilman Isadore Hall, III, kicks off his 3rd Annual Senior Breakfast and Christmas gala for more than 400 local senior citizens in Compton on Thursday, December 13, 2007, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Crystal Park Casino and Hotel located at 123 E. Artesia Boulevard, Compton, CA 90220.

“Christmas is a special time in the city and each year it is important for each the council members to celebrate the vast diversity in the city with important celebrations, said Councilman Hall. “This event honors our seniors for their amazing contributions in Compton. Many of our seniors have lived here for more than 20 -30 years and have raised their families here. We honor them at this gala.”

This year, R&B and gospel recording artist Howard Hewett will perform some of his noted hits, as well as other special surprises will take place. Last year, Regina Belle performed and a special fashion show presented by Donna Vinci served as highlights for the afternoon event. Greater surprises are in store for the seniors this year.
