The Africa Channel to Air Highlights from the 7th Annual “Taste of Soul” Family Festival

Special to Premiere Thursday, November 22 at 7:00pm PST with Repeat Broadcasts Planned  

The Africa Channel will air highlights from the 7th Annual “Taste of Soul” Family Festival on Thursday, November 22 at 7:00pm PT.  

The show features an interview with L.A. Sentinel owner and “Taste of Soul” founder Danny Bakewell, Sr. Civil rights icon Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., and actress Tichina Arnold are also featured; along with interviews of prominent community leaders and local business owners, such as Ryan Legaux (Harold and Belle’s restaurant) and Tamica Washington-Miller (Lula Washington Dance Theatre).  

The special repeats Sunday, November 25 at 4:00pm and 8:00pm PT. Repeat broadcasts are planned for early December.  

The Africa Channel is available to Time Warner cable customers on Channel 176 throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
