Southeast L.A. area residents are encouraged to attend the ‘Heal the Community’ meetings at St. Stephen’s A.M.E. Church, starting Wednesday, May 2, at 7 p.m., at 1265 East 64th Street in Los Angeles.

“Due to the rash of molestation accusations surrounding our schools, teachers and students, we want to bring our neighbors together to address and resolve these issues as well as others impacting our community. Everyone’s invited to attend,” said Pastor Michael Carr.

Pastor Carr also recently launched the ‘Mission Resurrection,’ a ministry dedicated to transforming ‘Skidrow’ into ‘Resurrection Row.’ The effort is open to all interested clergy and laity.

For complete details, call St. Stephen’s at (323) 383-4344.
