Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca (Center) paid a special visit to the Lynwood High School Varsity football team on November 13.

He came out to recognize the dedication and work of Deputy Chad Sauter (Lower left in purple polo shirt) of the Sheriff’s Century Station who volunteered as an assistant coach for the past four seasons. Deputy Sauter divided his time and also assisted in coaching football players at Compton Centennial High School.

Baca’s attendance was to acknowledge and pledge support for any youth program that makes an honest effort to assist under-privileged kids in Los Angeles County. Sheriff Baca stayed for the entire game on the sidelines and spoke with Lynwood parents and staff members.
