The Second Baptist Church renamed its ongoing music series to ‘Jazzy Fryday,’ with the next session planned for Friday, April 20, at 7 p.m.

Pastor William S. Epps said, “April is Jazz Appreciation Month, so we invite the community to come celebrate our musical legacy and share in this wonderful fellowship. Sybil Coker has scheduled another set of stellar jazz musicians that will surely delight the crowd.”

The donation for Jazzy Fryday is $13 in advance and $15 at the door, which includes a complete meal and the live entertainment. Proceeds from the event benefit programs and ministries of Second Baptist Church.

Second Baptist is located at 2412 Griffith Avenue in Los Angeles. For information, call Helen Starks at (323) 216-0230 or Dessiraee Eleby at (213) 748-0318.
