Peter Lynn, director of Section 8 for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), will outline low-income housing options at the upcoming Save Our Sons Prison/Justice Ministry meeting.

The gathering is set for Sunday, July 20, at 2:30 p.m., at Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 3740 Don Felipe Drive in Los Angeles.   The Rev. Royce Porter, Sr., is the host pastor.

According to Dr. Delores Alleyne, the presentation will be especially helpful for Section 8 residents and the formerly incarcerated.

“Mr. Lynn will discuss the Re-Entry Family Reunification Pilot Program that was developed for people recently released from prison,” said Dr. Alleyne.

“This program will help formerly incarcerated people re-unite and reside with their families who live in HACLA Section 8 housing.”

The meeting will also offer information on expungement of criminal records along with free refreshments.
