Rev. Floyd Patterson Passes Away

Rev. Floyd Patterson

The Rev. Floyd Patterson, an associate minister at First A.M.E. Church in Los Angeles for more than 15 years, passed away unexpectantly on October 9.  His Celebration of Life service is set for Saturday, October19, at 11a.m., at FAME, 2270 South Harvard Boulevard in Los Angeles. PastorJ. EdgarBoyd will officiate.

A native of Arkansas, the Rev. Patterson was born on January 25, 1957.  He accepted Christ at a young age while growing up in Gary, Indiana.  Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy, then earned a bachelor’s degree at St. Joseph College in Whiting, IN.

The Rev. Patterson moved to Los Angeles in 1985 where he devoted his time and talents to the work of the Lord, his family, and his business, MLA Legal Network.
