R. Kelly’s Trial Postponed, Concert Dates Confirmed
By Sentinel Staff Writer

Now the trial has been postponed and on the release of R. Kelly's album, Double Up, which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in June, Kelly is now officially announced he will be performing concerts across the U.S.

Early this year R&B singer Keyshia Cole mentioned that she and Kelly were planning to tour together. Kelly's camp shut that rumor down stating, "Reports that R. Kelly is planning a concert tour in October are not true. Kelly is currently focused on preparing for his trial and has no definite plans for anything beyond that."

Kelly has announced that he will visit 39 cities beginning November 14th with Ne-Yo and J. Holiday. Ne-Yo is a songwriter and singer. His first album released in 2006, “In My Own Words” debuted at #1 on Billboard 200. He has written “Unfaithful” for Rihanna; Mario's “Let me Love You”; and Beyonce's Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit for 10 weeks “Irreplaceable.” He also released his sophomore album “Because of You” that is doing well on the charts.

Chicago native, J. Holiday is fairly new to the R&B scene. His album, “Back of My Lac” dropped October 2nd and features the hit single “Bed.”

The tour will stop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 14th; in Oakland at The Oakland Arena on December 15th and in Sacramento at The Arco Arena on December 16th.
