LAS: What is your name and what is your ministry?
BC: Pastor Beverly “Bam” Crawford, D.D., of Bible Enrichment Fellowship International Church, Crawford Ministries Inc., Leaders Apostolic Mentoring and Prophetic Seminars (LAMPS), BAM Crawford’s The Company, Chosen Vessels (Women’s Outreach), and Kingdom Community and Youth Center (Community Development).

LAS: How long have you been in this ministry and how did you get started in it?
BC: I have been in the ministry a total of 37 years. After serving and working full-time in the ministry with a large church in the Los Angeles area for many years, I started out with Bible Enrichment Seminars, which eventually, God led me start a church. We just recently celebrated 21 years as a local church.

LAS: What role has God or your faith played in your ministry?
BC: God has played a major role in my ministry. I believe ministry is about God and the Kingdom of God. Ministry is about serving people and serving humanity. I believe that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. The thrust of my ministry is John 3:16. All of our outreaches, ministries, and support groups, all the things we do in the community and around the world are based on this truth.

LAS: What is one of the most memorable moments or experiences during your ministry?
BC: I endured much persecution over the years, but particularly when I stepped out and began Bible Enrichment Seminars. One of my most memorable moments was a confirmation of my obedience to God. The first Sunday that we held our church service in the sanctuary building at 400 E. Kelso, my congregation was in a line that wrapped around the block to get into the morning service.

LAS: What are you doing or working on now and what are some of your future goals?
BC: My most recently published book, The Law of Faith – Quantum Reality, is now available at I just finished writing my sixth book, The House of Chloe – Women in Leadership. I am having my first Women’s Empowerment Conference, March 31 – April 2, in Long Beach ( My future goals are to fulfill the vision that God has given to me.
