Vacation Bible School (VBS) opens on Monday, August 4, at 6:45 p.m., at Price Chapel A.M.E. Church, 4000 West Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles.

Classes for children and adults will focus on the theme, ‘2014 Cultivation,’ with a scriptural reference of Matthew 13:1-23.  The lessons will share strategies to remove distractions that prevent believers from enjoying an abundant life in the Lord, explained Pastor Cedric V. Alexander.

“We welcome people throughout the community to bring their entire family to this week-long program,” he said.

“You will definitely grow in your walk with Christ through the series of exciting studies developed by our superintendent, the Rev. Don C. Wallace.

“It is our desire that every Christian experience the abundant blessings of God in their daily living and we believe these VBS classes will equip you to do just that,” he added.

Also, each night through Friday, August 8, dinner will served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  To register for Vacation Bible School, call (323) 296-2406.
