The congregation rejoiced as the youth of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church presented ‘An Island Christmas,’ an upbeat, musical celebration, on Sunday, December 18.

The production focused on giving, sharing and caring and according to Pastor Joseph C. Gardner, the young people gave an outstanding program under the supervision of Judith Willis, director of Christian Education. With the sanctuary decorated with island ornaments, the youth wore colorful costumes while singing, dancing and sharing reflections of the Christmas holiday.

Phillips Temple is located at 971 East 43rd Street in Los Angeles. For information about worship services, call (323) 233-4783.
