PEARL SABRINA BAUSLEY, MOTHER of REV. JL ARMSTRONG, PASSES

Pearl Sabrina Bausley, 81, passed on Thursday, May 2, 2013.   Ms. Bausley was the mother of JL Armstrong, Associate Minister at FAME Church and National Manager, Corporate Affairs, Toyota Motors Sales.

 Ms. Bausley was born November 24, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Claire Belle Granerson  Bausley  and  the  late  Samuel  Bausley.  She  married  Robert  L.  Armstrong  in

1950.    Upon  their  divorce  in  1980,  Ms.  Bausley  moved  to  Los  Angeles.    She  worked  for

the U.S. government for 38 years until her retirement in 1997. 

 She was an active member of FAME and served as a greeter on the FAME “Hi” Host/Hostess Committee. She was an active member of Neighbors United, the Faircrest Heights Neighborhood organization in West L.A.  She was also a neighborhood block captain and served as property manager of the West L.A. apartment building in which she resided for 26 years.

 In addition to her son, Rev. JL Armstrong, she is survived by son Anthony “Tito” (Dory), daughter Trina  Armstrong  Potter  (Clifford),  and  grandchildren  Brandon,  Briana  and Brigitte.

 Services are set for Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11am at FAME with a repast immediately following at the FAME Plaza.  Services are entrusted to Angelus Funeral Home, 3875 S. Crenshaw Blvd., L.A., CA 90008
