Friends of slain Cal State Northridge student Clifton Hibbert Jr. has organized a Peace Walk for Sunday March 29 beginning at 10:30 a.m. near 4270 So. Figueroa Street in Los Angeles the location of where Hibbert and his friend Kenneth Patterson were fatally shot.
The 22-year-old Hibbert Jr. and his 23-year-old friend Patterson were returning from a party in Northridge during the early morning of March 28, 2008 when suspects opened fired and killed both of them.
A year has past and there has still not been any arrest or information provided that could lead to the arrest of the suspect or suspects in the double homicide.
Organizers will be walking in the neighborhood and knocking on doors with hopes of discovering information that could lead to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the crime.
The Los Angeles City Council is offering a $75,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction, such individual may also elect to remain anonymous.
