Park Hills Community Church, Reformed Church in America, will celebrate their 26th Annual Women’s Day on Sunday, May 19, at 11 a. m.  The theme is “Perseverance – A Woman Believing God,” based on several related Scriptures.

The Rev. Yolanda R. Dove will deliver the message. An ordained minister, she became first lady of Park Hills when her husband, the Rev. Lawrence K. Dove, was installed as the senior pastor last year.

Currently, the Rev. Yolanda serves as Spiritual Life Chairperson of the Women’s Ministries and as co-director of the church’s ‘Kick Back’ teen ministry.  A native of Los Angeles, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

The worship will include a Women’s Day Chorus conducted by Director of Music Perry V. Hayes. Also, a reception will be held following the service.

Ms. Willie Jewel Miller is the president of the Women’s Ministries and Mrs. Gay Morris is the Women’s Day chairperson.

Park Hills Community Church is located at 5247 Overdale Drive in Los Angeles.  For information, call the church office at (323) 294-1421 or visit
