These scriptures (2 Timothy 3:1-8) relate to some specifics about end-times events and apostasy (the church’s departure from the truth). Galatians 2:4 reveals to us that false teachers encourage apostasy during times of trials.
In Daniel 9 (an apocalyptic book), Daniel has a lot on his mind and wanted answers from God. He observed in the books the number of the years, which was revealed as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, 70 years.
Wouldn’t it be great if the Lord answered each prayer quickly, immediately and according to our own timing? Although, the Lord answers prayer, it’s according to His own wisdom and timing.
A downfall of Solomon was over exertion of building, construction, women, wealth and some other factors. Somewhere around 1742 B.C., we can read about historical factors of taxes.
One (or more) commentators might say that Solomon’s downfall resulted from wealth, weapons and women. However, that could reasonably extend to appendages sprouting from these to include wealth in abundance that brings with it, if not checked, arrogance, greed, not acknowledging others compassionately and overspending in humongous ways and areas. You can go on and on, just think up some words to fit. You might recall that Sodom was well known for its outrageous sexual behavior, but that was not their only trespass. Scriptures declare Solomon as the wisest, wealthiest, most influential (at least in our minds) of all the kings. Of course, his father David, the great warrior, is not less renowned than he.
When the day of Pentecost came, different cultures spoke in varieties of languages. “And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” The rushing, mighty wind swept in, testifying and confirming what Jesus had already told them to expect. Wait for the Holy Spirit. Those present mocked what was going on , saying they were drunk. That belief was abandoned seeing it was early in the day and it did not hinder the Holy Spirit. Right from the beginning, Jehovah, Jesus Christ, knew what was in man. He knew that man was classified to Him with disobedience even from his youth (Genesis 8:20-21). He didn’t need anyone to tell Him about man or explain to Him what was in man because He already knew what was in man. So it is today because He knows the thoughts and intents of the heart. Jesus was criticized for going to the house of Zacchaeus because Zacchaeus was viewed as a big time sinner. Jesus made it clear, “I have come to save that which was lost.” He did not come to just feather the cap of someone who already had it going on, but He came to fill the lives of those who wanted their lives “filled to the brim.” He came to the lost who wanted salvation and those who were seeking something more fulfilling in their lives. So was the case with Zacchaeus, who exercised the same kind of faith as Abraham.
Jesus’ actions were always significant. Everything He did bore worthy of being talked about or becoming angry about or worth writing about or questioning His actions.

Many people “hear” but do not listen, act, or respond. Some listen passively. Probably, parents would be firsthand witnesses to talk about what their children and young adults hear.
