Open Door Skid Row Ministry and Feeding, a sidewalk church in the heart of Skid Row, will celebrate its 4thAnniversary on November 25, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., on the corner of 5th Street and San Pedro in downtown Los Angeles.

According to Founder/CEO Evangelist Geraldine Hughes, “For the past four years, we have provided a sidewalk church for the chronic homeless men, women and veterans that sleep on the streets of our nation’s homeless capital, Skid Row.

“While many bring free food, we bring spiritual food that will help cure conditions that cause homelessness.  As a result, many are blessed with jobs, breaking their addiction issues, and even the mentally ill are participating in our weekly services.”

Pastors, ministers, choirs, singers, rappers, and evangelists are invited to participate in the Anniversary Program. Donations of cooked food plates, clothing, shoes, blankets, coats, or toiletries are also welcome.  Financial donations can be sent to Open Door Skid Row Ministry, 38713 Tierra Subida Avenue, #200-142, Palmdale, CA 93551.

“We look forward to you helping to make our 4th Anniversary a huge success.  Anything you do to bless the work that we do, the blessings of God will be counted back unto you,” said Evangelist Hughes.
