Noesis Therapy II

Hello world, I hope your days are spent with a smile as you look forward to accomplishing the next goal in your life. In December of last year I wrote an article titled “Noesis Therapy”, within that article I asked you all not to worry about situations that you no longer have control over and to think about the positive future that rest within your hands. Well, I hope to remind you all to continue along the same path.

I also want all of you the use the techniques I discuss within this article to help you, both mentally and physically. The easiest way to start is with a “WALK”. A twenty minute stroll at least three times a week to start, this will do wonders for your psyche and within a few weeks you will notice the positive

cardiovascular differences. If you have a significant other, invite him or her along! If you have a close friend or even a group of associates during a lunch or break period, invite them, all persons participating will have a role. I ask you to do this for several reasons, (1) you will need a partner to follow the steps. (2) Your partner(s) will act as listeners. (3) The number of partners should be divided into the number of minutes one has to “VENT”. (4) No comments are needed (at this point), just allow yourself to speak of what ever issues you desire.

The reason your friends, acquaintances and spouses are not allowed to comment during your venting period, is because I would like you to speak openly without fear or reluctance to verbalize your thoughts. Therefore you will not speak in a fashion to obtain assured comments. This twenty or so minute walk is not designed to be a back and fourth conversation. Your first obligation is to yourself to expel the ills of absolutely anything you wish and second to be a listener to the partner(s) you share those minutes with.

Some of you may want comments and feed back, however again, this exercise is designed mainly for you to vent and exert yourself physically while doing so. I believe this form of therapy will help all who participate. Afterwards, your mind should be clear or less conflicted. The verbal expulsion while walking will release your physical tension, thus causing a bet of fatigue yet a wealth of mental relief.

Please give yourself the opportunity to create within you the peace you all deserve. I ask that you be open with your thoughts and forth coming within your time period of venting. Start and continue this process with the expectation of positive self enhancement. Do not procrastinate, do it! “The strength of the spirit prevents it from being used up (Lao Tsu)”. Maintain the strength of your spirit by releasing the issues held in the back of your mind. I believe by doing so, you will become a healthier person both mentally and physically. Take care.
