New Antioch Marks 43rd Year

New Antioch Church of God in Christ will celebrate its 43rd Anniversary with the theme, ‘A New Beginning,’ based on Isaiah 43:18-19.

On Sunday, February 10 at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., the guests will be Superintendent Linwood Dillard, International Youth Department President of the Church of God in Christ; and recording artist Jamelle Jones and F.R.E.E.D.

Evangelist Lawanne’ Ross of Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ in Haywood and Psalmist Sherron Bennett will be featured on Wednesday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Pastor Ben Stephens of Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ in Grandview, MO, highlights the service on Wednesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. Darrell Sims and High Praise will perform.

On Wednesday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m., Pastor E.V. Hill II of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles will preach and artist David Daughtry will sing.

Dr. James A. Lewis, and his wife, Dr. Barbara McCoo Lewis, founded New Antioch with five other saints in January 1970. In January 2006, Superintendent Jeffrey M. Lewis was appointed senior pastor of New Antioch.

“Our church anniversary is time to celebrate the past and look ahead to the future.  We invite the entire community to attend,” said Pastor Lewis.
