Man Wounded in Gang-Related Drive-By Shooting in South L.A.

    A man in his late 20s was wounded this afternoon in what police say was a gang-related drive-by shooting in the Florence section
of South Los Angeles.
The victim got out of his vehicle about 3:30 p.m. in the area of 65th Street and Broadway when a man in a vehicle opened fire, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez.
The victim was struck and taken to a hospital, where he was in stable condition, Lopez said.
Descriptions of the suspect and vehicle were not immediately available.
