Sportsman Family Billiards & Restaurant
“Cool story. So true about pool losing its viability with young people. Sportsman sounds like a cool place to kick it. I was a manager at a Billiards for three years, and pool players are some of the most down to earth people. Oh, and just like Sportman’s, we didn’t serve alcohol. That’s prob why we kept the peace.”

“Great article, pool is a great sport, it’s fun & you will get hooked if you play often. Hopefully, the community will support them after reading it.”

Gabby Maiden: First black female competitive snowboarder
“Love the interview!  I have followed Gabby Maiden for 5 years and she is a true role model for our children.  I have two kids, a girl 16 and a boy 19.  They met Gabby in Big Bear 5 years ago she was so sweet and helpful.  She gave them her time and her big smiles.  It was their first time snowboarding.  We live in Compton and she taught them how to snowboard, just because she saw they needed help. We had no idea at the time this young lady was the FIRST BLACK FEMALE PROFESIONALSNOWBOARDER in the history of the world. You know that she was something special that God and gave her, a gift of kindness and skill.”

Andrew Bynum is poised to return soon. That helps in a lot of ways, but none moreso than on Defense.
