Continuing to highlight the season of Lent, the Caravan resumes on Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m., at First A.M.E. Church, 1700 North Raymond Avenue in Pasadena.

“The community is welcome to hear the life-changing message of Christ preached by Pastor Cedric Alexander of Price Chapel A.M.E. Rev. Alexander is well known for his dynamic delivery of the Word of God,” said the Rev. Dr. Allen Williams, host pastor.

The Lenten Caravan, sponsored by six A.M.E. churches, is designed to heighten the spiritual awareness, sensitivities and focus of Christians in the six weeks leading up to Resurrection Sunday.

At the concluding Caravan service, grants will be presented to Ruby’s Houses, a sanctuary for women and children; and Bethel A.M.E. – Monrovia, whose pastor recently died.
