Knox Presbyterian Installs New Pastor

Pastor Reginald Ragland

After a three-year search, the Rev. Reginald Ragland was named the new pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church, 5840 La Tijera Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The Presbytery of the Pacific installed Pastor Ragland on February 10 during a service attended by Interim Pastor Elizabeth Steele, members, denomination officials and community leaders.

Prior to this appointment, the Rev. Ragland led Southminister Presbyterian Church in Phoenix, AZ, where he served the past 10 years as the Commissioned Ruling Elder.

Pastor Ragland earned an Associate’s degree at Central Arizona Community College, a bachelor’s degree at Norfolk State University, and Master of Divinity and Theology degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. 

He also holds certificates in Leadership and Organizational Management from Peter Drucker Management Institute and Management from the Johnson and Johnson Management Institute/UCLA Anderson School.

The Rev. Ragland is married to Clarissa Davis Ragland, an ordained Deacon, and they are the parents of two adult daughters.
