Jada Paul Hosts 4th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway

Jada Paul, wife of 8-time NBA All Star, Chris Paul,  recently hosted her fourth annual prom dress giveaway.  The event, sponsored by the Chris Paul Family Foundation, was held at the J. W. Marriott at LA Live in Los Angeles.  100 girls from various community organizations throughout Los Angeles were invited to attend and select prom gowns, shoes and accessories.  
 
“Prom night is such a special event for most young ladies and we wanted to help make it extra special,” stated Paul.  It was great to see all the girls so excited as they selected the perfect outfit.”
 
The afternoon included a fashion show with members of the Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Dance Team lending their talents as models.    Hollywood fitness trainer to the stars, Jeanette Jenkins, spoke to the girls about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a fitness regimen.  Desiree Paul, sister-in-law to Jada Paul, shared some insight into being self-confident and preparing for the next challenge in their lives after high school.  DJ Brazilia provided music for the afternoon.

After selecting their gowns and accessories, the girls were able to sit with makeup artists from Jane Cosmetics who did makeup demonstrations.  Each girl received a gift bag with makeup from Jane Cosmetics, hair care products from Mixed Chicks hair products and a journal.
 
The young ladies were also given an opportunity to win raffle prizes that included 
dinner for two on prom night at the Cheesecake Factory,  a limo for the prom and to help make two lucky young ladies look their best on prom night a makeup artist from Jane Cosmetics and celebrity hairstylist, Donte Smith, will go to the homes of the winners.

Corporate supporters for the afternoon included BCBGMAXAZRIA, Windsor Fashions, Jane Cosmetics., AEG and The Los Angeles Clippers.
