Inglewood Girl Found Unharmed
By City News Service
Published July 3, 2013

A 17-year-old Inglewood girl thought to have been kidnapped was found apparently unharmed, police said on Monday. Dalayshia Miles “has been located, and returned to her family,” the Inglewood Police Department said in a statement.

“Miles was able to contact her family and provide a location,” police said.

“She was subsequently taken into protective custody, and … appears to be unharmed.”

Police declined to provide other details of her disappearance. Earlier this month, investigators had appealed for public help to find her, stating they believed she was traveling with an unknown male and was being held against her will. No arrests have been reported. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call Detective Loyd Waters, (310) 412-5240.
