Life Tips from the Maasai Village Chief
Our attitude should be like Christ’s, who, although deserving worship and exaltation, God emptied Him and He took the form of a servant.
After humbling Himself, He became obedient, even to death. (Philippians 2:5-11, Luke 14:11)
When we are weary and discouraged, His example of endurance in suffering should help us. (Hebrews 12:1-3.) He commands that we love one another as He has loved us, and He laid down His life for us. (John 15:12-13)
He commanded His disciples to follow His example of service. (John 13:5-15) Those who follow His example of serving will be great in His Kingdom.
Christ invites us to come to Him and take His yoke. (Matthew 11:28-30) Those who hear His voice and follow Him have eternal life. (John 10:27-30)
We should be imitators of God and walk in love as He did. (Ephesians 5:1-2) Husbands should love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. (Ephesians 5:25-27)
The Messiah’s footsteps will be our pathway. (Psalm 85:12-13) We should be merciful, just as God is merciful. (Luke 6:35-36) We should be holy, just as He is holy. (1 Peter 1:15-16, Leviticus 11:44-45)
