Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas was the guest of honor at the recent Annual Holiday Christmas Party at Helen Keller Park, hosted by the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts of Los Angeles, C.U.R.E., and Pete Carroll of A Better Los Angeles.

Over 2,500 people of all ages were present to partake in the holiday party favors which included a complete Christmas meal, carnival rides, games, and concessions, and an unwrapped Christmas gift and a pair of athletic shoes for all of the children.

Reynaldo Reaser, C.U.R.E., co-founder said. "This is the third annual Christmas celebration at Helen Keller Park and the way that it continues to grow each year is a testament to the tremendous support we have received from the county of Los Angeles, the University of Southern California Athletic Department, and a host of others."
