A new sculpture of Muhammad Ali
A new sculpture of boxing great Muhammad Ali goes on display Friday in downtown Los Angeles.
It’s a two-dimensional depiction of Ali’s face. The nearly three-story high artwork is made from 1,300 boxing speed bags, five miles of stainless steel and two miles of aluminum tubing. The sculpture will be on display at Nokia Plaza L.A. Live through April 9. It will then go on tour around the country.
