Displaying their commitment to Christ, the male members of Hamilton United Methodist Church will present, ‘Men Stepping into Faith: Men of Character, Purpose and Worth,’ based on Romans 5:1-5.

The Annual Men’s Day Worship is set for Sunday, June 15 at 11 a.m., in the edifice at 6400 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles where the Rev. Gary Bernard Williams serves as pastor.

Inviting the public to attend, Pastor Williams said, “You will be refreshed and inspired by fellowshipping with us at this spirit-filled service.  Our speaker will be Ambassador Michael Lawson, a Hamilton member and dynamic orator.  Also, the legendary vocalist, Kenneth Glover, will share songs of praise.”

Ambassador Lawson, formerly president of the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners, represents the United States on the International Civil Aviation Organization based in Montreal, Canada.

A retired partner in Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, a New York law firm, he is currently chairman of the LA Community Redevelopment Agency Oversight Board and a trustee for the California State Teachers Retirement Board, Morehouse College and Loyola Marymount University.

Anthony Lawson is the Men’s Day program chair.  To learn more, call (323) 971-1217.\
