Get Mine In 2009
By Malik Spellman

Happy New Year earth people. It is that time again when god has shown us that we have made it with his blessings. Well I have to be honest with you people, I got to get mine in 2009 because we got the best pieces on the chess board this time. I plan on taking advantage of it by reinventing myself for the betterment of my family and friends that are incarcerated in the bowels of the beast. I want to hit big so I can adopt a law firm to help free the worthy captives like LIL T.S., Big T.S. and cousin Carey along with PEE, Baby Geek, Monsta KODY Keta Rock Big U'S DAD, and a host of others who are held captive by this world. I have a opportunity now to make a difference in the lives of the children of these men who may or may not have made a mistake and have now been penalized worse than CHRIST the king.

With the stock market being overwhelmed, even the grave yard got a foreclosure sign on it. I highly recommend that people this year start investing into their human bank of faith and investment into the soul bank of life.

This year I want more laughter than pain. We need to try and attend more weddings than funerals. I was once driving down the street and saw a mock gang related funeral being held to enlighten the masses about the danger of killing your own. So I decided that this year we should have a mock series of weddings for our people in order to get them out of that Fred Flintstone mentality. After all this time, we finally have a chance to shine and stay under the radar while the Barack Man does his thing.

This new year is going to be a great one especially if we don't get the "we sick master" syndrome and fall off. Some of the things that are going on in the world doesn't have anything to do with us, because we've been poor from day one– surviving on just the basics. But now is the time to be happy and have a great time being Black and the masters degrees we have obtained from being poor and rejected.

Things will look up if we lift that veil of poverty and anger off of our faces this new year. Lower your wing to your fellow man and don't take poverty and oppression for an excuse in this life. Just because the stock market and a host of other big shot oppressors are now sick, we should not think for one moment that we should get the "we sick master" syndrome once again, because they are still buying homes and Bentley's. It is time for the cream to rise to the top of the fluid and give us that old time religion again. If god said that the meek shall inherit the earth, who best fits that description than us, the despised and rejected. When I saw my homie pull off in a Rag Top Bentley and smile cause he was on his way to buy his wife a house, I said to myself it isn't over yet. Black folks it is time to stand up like natural people and show them while we have the chance that Black folks aren't going anywhere. I want people to write the system and tell them not to start cutting off the lights now that it is our turn to shine. They say that they can't give us reparations, but one person can steal 50 billion from the American people and then go home. But yet and still they said my homie Big S.O. from the town lifted something from a car and he got the three strikes law applied to him, and he has three kids.

That is what you would call a judicial oxy moron, if there is such a term to use in this equation. So remember there have never been any fairness on the earth unless it came from GOD so therefore we have to continue to proceed with what we have to do and then god will shine his light on us hopefully. Don't concentrate on the ways of the world now because when we were going through it just here recently in the sixties during the civil rights movement, we were being watched like a movie–being beat and stripped of our dignity. We were so dogged that we even had a slogan to remind the people, and it stated I AM A MAN. 2009 for me and other responsible brothers is to get mine in 09 and keep the dead homies and the brothers locked up by the wall on my mine. I promise the people who I serve that I will do my part to make it better and hopefully we will get the results we need.
