G&C Win $5M Katrina Contract

G&C Equipment Corporation has been awarded a $5 Million contract by Archer Western Corporation to supply material and equipment to help rebuild one of the levees that was destroyed by hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.

Gene Hale, President of G&C said he is honored that the Company can play a small role in assisting with the rebuilding of New Orleans. G&C is a nationwide company and of the nation’s largest Black-Owned businesses.

The company has participated in the rebuilding of the Pentagon after 911, supplied equipment to Russia to help destroy nuclear weapons and worked on Staples Center and the LA Live project and other worldwide.
