FUN! Somewhere within the hustle and bustle of life, we are all suppose to find some time to have fun, and I believe Summer time is really the best time to have a good time. So, as I approached this week, I came up with a new idea, and I am going to first share this idea with you our readers and see if together we can build this idea into a reality.
From Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend we are going to have a new section. I haven’t figured out what I am going to call it yet, but it is going to be about what there is to do within our community to just have fun, some ideas should and will be free for all and some will cost. There will be ideas for families, seniors, kids, couples and singles. There will be places to go, things to do, places to eat, drink and be merry.
This new Summer Section will also have ideas for just staying home, we will also have cooking recipes from professional chefs and backyard connoisseurs, There will be drink ideas for grown folks and adults alike, we will have theme party ideas and decorating tips. It will be a section completely dedicated to FUN in and around our community.
So now that you have my vision, I want you to send me your ideas. Send me your recipes, and information about different events. If your church, school, block club or social club is having something have them contact us here at the Sentinel and place an ad in our new and exciting Summer Fun Section.
What we all know is that the people in our community want, need and deserve the same things that every other community wants deserves and needs. We want to enjoy the Summer time. We want to just cool out and enjoy each others company and celebrate life. So together, you our readers our staff and I are going to put together the best Things To Do, Places to Go, and People to see in and around town that has ever been put together.
So now I really need your input. I need to hear from you now more than ever. I need to know what is going on in our community. I also need to know what other stories we need to tell, and what is on your mind. I really do want to hear from you, I want you to “Talk to Danny.”
