Free Tax Help at Saturday Family Resource Fair

Jerome E. Horton, chairman of the California Board of Equalization, observes a volunteer income tax preparation expert, and student at California State University Los Angeles (CSULA), complete the 2013 income tax return for a taxpayer who participated in the free tax help and family resource fair, Saturday, at CSULA.    The goal of the program is to help Californian’s increase their refunds and receive up to $6,044 in earned income tax credits.   The next free event, in the Los Angeles area will be held at California State University Dominguez Hills on March 6, 2014.
