First Church of God Launches ’30 Days to Victory’

Beginning January 1, Bishop Gregory L. Dixon, senior pastor, and the First Church of GodÖCenter of Hope family, will launch an intensive season of prayer entitled, “30 Days to Victory.”

First Church of GodÖCenter of Hope is located at 9550 Crenshaw Blvd in Inglewood.

“The season will start with a special New Year’s Day service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 1.  The focus of this one hour service will encompass praise for the Lord’s faithfulness, while we pray with great expectations for what He has in store for 2011,” said Bishop Dixon.

“Prayer will continue weekly with dynamic Sunday worship services at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., along with corporate prayer each Wednesday at 6 p.m.

“Anyone needing to link their faith with others is invited to join us and bring their prayer petitions.  Prayer requests will be collected and prayed for during the entire month of January,” he added.

On Saturday, January 22, Pastor Nancy Wilson of New Beginnings Community Outreach Church in Greensboro, NC, will speak at the Women of Hope Prayer Breakfast 2011. A powerful psalmist and gospel recording artist, Pastor Wilson will also preach January 23-26, 2011.

Bishop Dixon will preach on Sunday, January 30 at the Culmination “Victory” Services  8 a.m., 11 a.m., and 5 p.m.
