Barbara Bryant’s latest book, “F.B.I.,” is not about the government agency, but about the God who governs the world.
Favor, blessings and increase, or “F.B.I.,” outlines God’s great compensation plan and Bryant wants all believers to take advantage.
“In a season during which resources and money seem to be in short supply, ‘F.B.I.’ was written to remind people that our source is not this world’s system, but in God’s abundant and endless resources, which He has made available to us as His heirs and His children,” said Bryant.
“As a believer, we should expect to be blessed, and blessed abundantly,” she declared.
A powerful preacher, prolific author, and dynamic orator, Bryant travels the country educating tens-of-thousands of people about God’s power and faithfulness to His Word. With ‘F.B.I.,’ she aims to reach an even broader audience with the message of accessing His many promises.
Bryant explained, “The book’s theme is based upon Psalm 115:12-14, ‘The LORD hath been mindful of us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.’
“This is the promise of God to those who love Him and are called according to His purposes, you and me. Some of the chapter titles are: Heirs to a Fortune, A Favor Only God Can Give, The High Cost of Doubt, Don’t Worry, and Keys to Increase.
“F.B.I. is word-based. If you believe in the Word of God, you will be blessed and changed by the content,” she said.
Bryant’s expectation for readers is based on the Lord’s deliverance when she lost her job in 1998. At the same time, God gave her the sermon, ‘F.B.I.’ On the surface, the two incidents had no connection.
“From a cash standpoint, I was flat broke. I had no job, no money, and no savings. In the middle of this situation, the Lord spoke Psalms 115:12-15 to me — favor, blessing, and increase. These Scriptures knocked me to the floor in prayer. But, this was God telling me that He promised to bless and prosper me,” she recalled.
“No longer did I declare I was broke, but that I was walking in favor, blessing, and increase. In the meantime, I was preaching the sermon, ‘F.B.I.,’ to everyone and until FBI became a reality in my life.
“Through this process, I learned that when the favor of God is on you, opportunities would come your way, opportunities for blessings and increase. Was it easy? No, but I kept believing God’s Word and He shifted me from just enough to more than enough,” insisted Bryant.
The sermon, ‘F.B.I,’ sold more than 10,000 copies in four months indicating to Bryant that many were benefitting from the message. She then expanded the sermon into a book and so far, it is proving to be a wise decision.
Lending his endorsement, Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr., of the international Church of God in Christ, said, “F.B.I. will be a significant factor in changing people’s lives.”
