WHAT: Monthly Art Session
WHEN: Thursday – July 11, 2019 – 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm (2nd Thursday of each month.)
WHERE: The Midnight Mission – Dining Room 601 S. San Pedro St., Los Angeles, CA 90014 Parking is available under TMM building.
WHO: All are welcome.
WHY: To provide an opportunity for TMM Program Participants, our homeless and near homeless guests from the Skid Row Community and volunteers to share their hopes, dreams and frustrations through creative media and find a common bond in expressing themselves through art. It also gives volunteers an opportunity to interact with our guests in a unique way. “The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.” – Alberto Giacometti
MISC: There is no cost and all are welcome to attend. Art from previous sessions will be displayed. We are currently looking for sponsors for this ever-growing community event. If you are interested, please contact Georgia Berkovich.
