Ealy Convenes COGIC Worker’s Meeting

Bishop Joe L. Ealy convenes the Annual Worker’s Meeting of the Church of God In Christ First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern California this week.

“We invite the public to come out and be blessed by our dynamic speakers, praise-filled worship, and inspirational activities,” said Bishop Ealy.

The event starts on Tuesday, January 15, at 7 p.m., at Faith Chapel North, 45212 7th Street East in Lancaster.  The speaker will be Superintendent Lawrence Ash.

“Buses and hotel accommodations are available for those traveling to this service. Please contact Deborah Fredrick at (323) 382-1945 for more information,” Bishop Ealy said.

The meeting continues on Thursday, January 17, through Saturday, January 19 at West Angeles Church of God In Christ – North Campus, 3045 South Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Thursday’s program begins at 9 a.m., with the Women’s Day Services hosted by Mother Barbara McCoo-Lewis, Supervisor of Women.  At 10 a.m., Bishop Ealy will hold his Annual Bishop’s Council in the West Angeles Crystal Room.  Worship starts at 7 p.m., with Superintendent Emanuel Collins bringing the message.

On Friday, the J.A. Blake Institute will present a workshop at 9 a.m., and Bishop Ealy will preach at the worship at 7 p.m.

The meeting concludes on Saturday with a special breakfast hosted by Bishop Ealy at 9 a.m., in the Crystal Room.  For tickets or more information about the Annual Worker’s Meeting, call (562) 599-2830.
