Curry Temple CME Hosts Easter Events

Curry Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church will commemorate Resurrection Weekend with four events held in its sanctuary at 322 West Rosecrans Avenue in Compton.

“Our first service will be on Good Friday, March 29, at 7 p.m., and everyone is welcome to fellowship with us,” said Pastor Byron L. Smith. 

Headlining the worship will be the ‘Seven Last Words’ preached by Pastor Prentiss Smith, Bishop T.A. Moore, Pastor Burgess, Sr., Pastor Michael Ealey, Pastor Emma Burrus, the Rev. Najuma Smith-Pollard, and Pastor Sherman Gordon.

Resurrection Sunday, March 31, begins with Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., followed by the youth presentation at 9 a.m., and morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
