Pastor David Cross

Seeking to help people move forward when unions fail, the Rev. David W. Cross penned his first book, ‘How to Come Back From Relationship Setbacks.’

The official unveiling takes place before his congregation on Sunday, July 20, at the 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services at The Liberty Church, 14725 South Gramercy Place in Gardena. Following the 11 a.m. services, Pastor Cross will sign copies of his book.

Explaining the motivation for writing on this subject, Pastor Cross shared, “I’ve seen so many relationships fall apart and I saw my own marriage in quicksand.

“Just before I went under, I cried out to the Savior, ‘Lord, I don’t want to go out like this.  There has got to be something more.’

“So I went on an intense journey of studying relationships, ‘snakes’ and how to come back from setbacks.”

Issues tackled in the book include recovering from hurt, divorce or heart-breaking relationships, getting the ‘snake’ out of your marriage and restoring a house of peace, how to say ‘no’ when your flesh says ‘yes,’ and rediscovering and being revived by the phenomenal healing love of God.

“I believe the information in this book can help you in many areas of your life. All are welcome to stop by and get your copy, hot off the press,” added Pastor Cross.
