Council President Herb Wesson led the City Hall honors for Dorsey High School for winning the LA City Baseball Division II Championship, their first since 1958, ending a 56-year drought.  Also honored were Coach Pete Dobson and Principal Dr. Reginald Sample.  Dr. Willard Love, who played on the 1958 Championship team and is still active with the High School, was a special guest.
