Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum (TAM) kicked off their first Friday Night Flights last Friday, July 29, 2011 and provided close to 100 children and adults free helicopter and airplane flights.  They toured the museum and had hands on training flying a plane using the flight simulators.  Horacio, 13 years old, stated, “the simulators seem so real.  I think I want to learn to really fly a helicopter.  Robin makes it look easy and fun.”

The Friday Night Flights Fundraiser benefits TAM’s mission to provide Compton youth opportunities and resources in aviation and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as an alternative to drugs, gang violence and other self-destructive activities.

Friday Night Flights will be every other Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  The next date will be August 12, 2011.

Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum is located at 961 West Alondra Blvd. Compton, CA.  90220.  Come out and enjoy free beverages and snacks as you check out the new flight simulators and more.  FREE FLIGHTS ARE AVAILABLE!
