Community Calls For Prayer for Public Relations Icon Pat Tobin

060808_PatTobinSCLC President Eric Lee, Brotherhood Crusade President Charisse Bremond and NAACP Board Member Willis Edwards have put a call out to the entire community asking for everyone to lift Business Leader, Community Leader and Public Relations Icon Pat Tobin up in prayers.  As many know Ms. Tobin has been in a long battle with cancer and currently she is at Cedar Sinai Hospital.

Ms. Tobin is a legend within the community as both a community advocate as well as a business leader.  While she has been battling cancer for a long time, Ms. Tobin's empowering spirit and belief in God has never waivered and many believe she will overcome this current bout as well.

We are asking all members of the community to remain prayerful for her and her family and she fights this latest battle.

Sentinel President and Executive Editor Danny J. Bakewell, Jr. said in a statement "Pat's tenacity has always inspired me.  I recently saw her at the Los Angeles NAACP Dinner and her positive outlook and enthusiasm not only for this years dinner but her conversation about next years dinner has been a source of inspiration and a lesson in faith that I will always remember.  I will remain prayerful for Pat and I would ask that everyone in the Sentinel Family will continue to lift her and her entire family up in prayer".
